Welcome to Forest Hills/Casa Linda Estates
Peaceful neighborhoods on the edge of White Rock Lake
Nestled along the southern tip of White Rock Lake, Forest Hills and Casa Linda Estates have a peaceful, almost rural feel to them. The thing that keeps them from feeling too rural is their easy commute to the heart of Dallas and the luxurious amenities within their borders.
Forest Hills was built as White Rock Lake was finished in the early 20th Century, and Casa Linda Estates followed not long after. Full of gorgeous homes perfect for families, both neighborhoods have long been an ideal place to escape the bustle of Dallas, even when they were considered to be on the outskirts of town.
Forest Hills has many grand homes with expansive lawns that sit along Garland Road with stunning lake views. Casa Linda Estates is set slightly back from the lakefront, but its houses boast expansive floor plans with various architectural styles, including Spanish Colonials. Both neighborhoods are primarily residential and have an atmosphere that exudes peace and tranquility.

Things to Do
Forest Hills is home to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Wander through their many lush gardens, or buy tickets to their six-week Spring Blooms event. The Arboretum also hosts Cool Thursday Nights, a summer concert series featuring bands from across the nation. Picnic, lounge on the grass, and take in a stunning view of White Rock Lake as you jam to the sounds of live music. Up the shore of the lake is Bath House Cultural Center, a gallery space and theater that’s known for fostering new work and up-and-coming artists.
White Rock Lake is the focal point of this area, and its 115 acres of water and land offer much in the way of recreation. With boat ramps and piers, it’s easy to get out for a day on the water. And there are many trails and gorgeous natural spaces to be found along its banks. Connected to the White Rock Lake trail loop, Santa Fe Trail is a paved space that connects the lake to many parks and neighborhoods throughout East Dallas.
Tenison Park Golf Course is a championship public course on the southern tip of the lake. Samuell Grand Tennis Center is a facility with professional trainers, tournaments, and open play for members.
